PADI Discover Scuba Diving
PADI Discover Scuba Diving Program teaches divers scuba techniques. This program is not a certified program, but provides the basic skills necessary to dive safely and comfortably. PADI Divers are taught the skills necessary to safely scuba dive and receive basic equipment. They will also learn how to use the equipment. During the course, they will be guided on a few shallow reef dives and open water diving.
Two sessions make up the PADI Discover Scuba Diving Course. The first session covers basic scuba techniques as well as breathing through a regulator. Students will then be taken on a trip to a local dive location where they'll learn the skills needed for safe diving. The instructor will keep the students safe and will demonstrate cool underwater equipment to them. PADI has also been awarded a PADI Discover Scuba Diving certificate towards the PADI Open Water Diver program.
