It provides information on recreational scuba diving and offers members the most current information. Members have access to a variety of medical and educational materials, and can also receive notifications about events and emergency situations.
Scuba diving accident insurance
DAN dive scuba diving accident insurance protects members from the financial costs of an underwater accident. Membership is $35 for an individual or $55 for a family. The current PDE computer database contains 137,451 profiles. These profiles are gathered via fieldwork, laboratory studies, or other research activities that improve diving safety.
PDE stands for Project Dive Exploration. DAN divers are eligible to share their profiles information and help the charity. To participate in this contest, simply dive for at least five dives between May 28 and September 3, 2007 to be entered in a drawing. All divers who complete at least 10 dives will be eligible to win a commemorative tee-shirt.
