Anse Cochon North & South

Scuba divers can explore the Anse Cochon North & South Reef, a pair of dive sites located between the two islands. Both sites are easily accessible from the beach. They range in depth from 10 to 40ft. These dive sites are perfect for both beginner and intermediate divers. Although the coral is more abundant on the northern side, there are many reef fish at the other end. Expect to see trumpetfishes, sea whips and eels as well as octopus.

Anse Cochon's south end is home to the Lesleen M, an abandoned cargo ship. The Fisheries Department of Saint Lucia used it as an artificial reef in 1986. The sunk vessel is now surrounded by seagrass beds, which attract many different species of fish. Barracudas and stingrays may be seen on the wreck, as it was deliberately sunk to be a dive site.
