NAUI eLearning is much cheaper than a full course in a dive shop. After completing your eLearning course, an instructor will take you to your first classroom lesson. In the classroom you will learn about the science of diving and how to select the right SCUBA equipment. You will also learn about responsible diving practices. You'll also get fitted for SCUBA diving equipment. You'll spend lots of time in the sea as you learn and practice safety skills. You'll be able to complete six open water dives during this time.

The advanced scuba class is an option for NAUI members to continue their education. This course includes eight open water dives. The course also teaches advanced procedures, underwater navigation, and emergency response. After completing the course, students will be issued a NAUI card and registration. The online resource section includes many resources that can be used to study for advanced certification.
Randy's Dive Shop offers courses
The RANDY’S DIVER SHOP is a great place for learning scuba diving. Classes for children aged 6 to 12 are offered. These classes include both the basics and more advanced aspects of scuba diving. Each class is unique and requires registration. The instructor covers everything, from theory to practice. Classes are held consecutively on weekends, from 8am until 5pm. There are some exceptions. Students must attend all class sessions, and should bring their own lunches.
Randy's Dive Shop is a 40-year-old business located in Westmoreland County. The McGhees began the business when they decided to relocate to the area, and have been operating the shop from their home for 40 years. Van and Barb McGhee both retired, and Randy's Dive Shop sold to Aaron Schilke and Chaia Schilke in North Huntingdon.
