Bob Hollis
Bob Hollis is a pioneer of scuba diving, a legend in the area and a member of International Scuba Diving Hall of Fame. Hollis began diving in the 1950s, and he became interested in underwater photography. This new hobby required specialized equipment, and Hollis' engineering degree led him to develop his own housings for underwater cameras. Hollis started Anchor Shack, an underwater camera store in Hayward (California) in 1965. He started receiving mail orders soon for his housings.

Oceanic
The Hollis Scuba Oceanic name is one of the most well-known in scuba dive. Founded by Bob Hollis in 1972, the company has become synonymous with high quality scuba equipment. Its products include rebreathers as well dive computers and unique diving masks with headsup displays. The company also developed military diving equipment such as the MK-25, used by US Navy Navy frogmen and naval work divers.

Recalled dive computers
Divers could drown from the Hollis Scuba recalled dive computers. The defective air flow control system on the recalled dive computer could cause a diver to lose control of his breathing underwater. These dive computers were purchased between November 2010 to July 2012 for around $1200. You can return the affected units to the factory or dealer for repairs.

Warranty
Hollis' Scuba Warranty protects you investment by making sure that the equipment meets or exceeds your expectations. It covers recreational scuba use as long as you take care of it properly. Hollis can help you exchange or refund your equipment if you have any issues. The warranty does not cover shipping or handling charges. Also, your warranty will not apply if you use the equipment for military or other commercial purposes.
