Diver training is available in many ways. PADI's program costs $200 to $500, and can be completed in just a few short days. There are three main components to most programs: the initial book, or "elearning" portal, which teaches divers about scuba skills. The confined water training allows divers to practice using their equipment. Open water diving is between 15 and 60 feet. A refresher course may be necessary in between certifications.

They are found in more that 110 countries and have more then 2800 dive shops worldwide. You can also be a NAUI diving instructor. SSI is also affiliated with the European Underwater Federation and CMAS.
