PADI Open Water Diver certification
PADI Open Water Diver certification can cost as low as $350. If you're lucky enough to find a study place, it can also be as cheap as $225. For this certification to be awarded, you must complete at least four open-water dives. Skills for confined water diving

PADI Open Water Diver experience starts at 8.30 a.m. There will be a brief orientation, theoretical sessions, and a practical session with confined water. You'll be able to learn how to breathe underwater, adjust for pressure and retrieve your regulator. Next, you will embark on a PADI Dive on a boat that takes you to the Atlantic Princess. It is a 30 meter long wreck with marine life.
Maximum training depth
Open Water certification teaches you how to safely dive as far as possible. Open Water certified divers often have questions about how deep they are allowed to dive. Most agencies allow for open water diving up to 50 minutes before recommending that divers go further. Below are some guidelines to help you decide if you should train at this level.
Advanced courses require that you can swim at least 50 feet/15 m without stopping. A typical course takes 14 minutes. You'll need the ability to swim distances of 200 yards (185m) and not stop. All the equipment required for this course will need to be purchased, including a single-cylinder that has at least 72 feet of storage and enough supervision. You will also need an exposure suit that fits the duration of your diving course.
Requirements
A typical scuba certification course takes about three to four working days. Students must complete a manual, study sections, as well as quizzes.
